The Sankusem Festival Participants will board and lodge at the University of Ghana’s International Students' Hostel. The seminars will take place in the University music department, and the final concert will take place at the National Theater of Ghana, in Accra.

The University of Ghana is the oldest and largest of the seven Ghanaian public universities. The University is mainly based at Legon, about twelve kilometres northeast of the centre of Accra, and is by far the most prestigious university in West Africa. It was founded in 1948 as the University College of the Gold Coast and was originally an affiliate college of the University of London which supervised its academic programs and awarded degrees. It gained full University status in 1961 and now has nearly 42,000 students. The University of Ghana boasts the foremost interdisciplinary research institute in the humanities and social sciences in Africa.

The National Theatre is a Semi -commercial and Multifunctional Institution, professionally equipped to meet world standards with unique and viable customer-oriented programming in the contemporary and traditional Arts. It is a complex of three structures comprising a theatre, an exhibition hall, and a rehearsal hall and amphitheatre. Located right in the heart of Accra, it currently houses the National Dance Company, the National Theatre Players (Abibigromma) and the the National Symphony Orchestra.
